A heart of gold | A Marc b. review

marc b bag polka dots zara casio stylish confidence

I started my blog because I strongly believe that I can be glamorous without spending hundreds or thousands of pounds. I do not need  media to tell me how much should I weigh, what to buy to be happy, how to dress to look taller or how to live my own life. Everyone is free to choose whether appearances are more important than genuine happiness. Life offers exquisite pleasures  and they are not expensive at all. Those are the little things that make us cheerful every day: spending time with family and our beloved ones, smiling, a strong coffee, a good soundtrack, the sun, fears we overcome , beautiful thoughts or  outdoors activities.

I started writing because I love making lists. I am not the kind that could write novels because my writing style is simple. But I wanted to convey my belief that we must focus more on travelling and not on material things. Get on a bus/car/bicycle or in a plane , arm yourself with a thirst for knowledge, dress comfortably and learn.

Today we explore a new continent and we need a roomy bag for souvenirs. We go back in time on the streets of Delhi where Sam came with the idea of creating quality middle-range affordable bags with a chic design. It all started with a precious gold heart charm and the first Marc b. bag was designed.  I associate the charm with their values: spread the love, be successful, triumphant and stick to your values. Your heart it`s made of gold.

When marc b.  contacted me  asking to review their bag (I was spoiled – please read a bag from their new collection – thank you !) I was really thrilled. I`ve seen  marc b. bags on Asos  and I had  one in my wishlist. As a blogger, I find it crucial, to be honest when you accept to receive any products. People trust online reviews just as much as personal recommendations. What you choose to write about, it represents you and your values so be really selective.

What?  Where?  How?

On the website, you will find a variety of handbags and accessories . Items from new spring collection or  products back in stock: from totes, shoulder bags, cross body to  clutches, marc b. it`s a little heaven. For me, it was hard to choose: classic designs, many colours and  2 types of finish: gold or silver. My favourites are the quilted handbags and the model Ellie from the spring collection.

You can find  their bags  on  the official website: click here –marc b. on Asos, LipsyTopshop. Depending on the site you choose, the shipping and the payment methods are different. Choosing the official website, you`ll have 20% off by joining the newsletter and now, they have sales.

I like gold and silver equally (ok… maybe silver more) and everything that`s black but this time I chose an earth tone colour. The bag I own is  called  “Ellie Mushroom” – how cute is that? I have to say I am pretty impressed with the quality of the bag. I love the thickness of the outer material, therefore the bag is hard to damage.I can carry it by the top handle or use the shoulder strap. The outer is 100% PU and the Lining is 100% Polyester.  The only thing I am concerned is scratching the rectangular gold finish turn lock when I  close my bag.

For those of you who follow the fashion movement, you know that quilted and serenity & rose quartz are in trend right now and marc b. has the stylish and trendy bags you want. If you are a  classic buyer and you don`t want to spend  £ 2000 for a Chanel bag, the Knightsbridge Black is a perfect choice (at least that was my first thought when I saw the model). I recommend marc b.  with all my heart and I am just keen on their desihttp://www.marcb.com/products/Knightsbridge-Black-.htmlgns.

Here is my rating : Design 5/5  |   Durability 5/5   |  Accuracy  4.5/5 | Shipping and packaging  5/5   Overall rating:   4.87 /5

Here is how I wear the bag. Enjoy it !

I agree there is a difference between elegance and arrogance. Elegant and chic doesn’t have to be expensive. Love the bag

These bags look fantastic, clean lined but not so tiny that you can’t fit your necessities in.

I don’t really have bags, I am more of a backpack person because I like my hands free, but I do like this one. I like the shape and the color, the dark cream is always elegant and it can go with any outfit.

Gorgeous! I’m a huge fan of frugality in fashion. I adore clothes but can’t sustain a designer wardrobe. I think labels mean nothing and style means everything!

You are so true! Looking and feeling glamorous does NOT have to come at the expense of our bank accounts. There are so many ways to save money and there are so many deals out there. We just have to not “splurge” or “impulse shop” so that we can plan and take advantage of everything out there. Creativity goes a long way in the fashion world!

The bag is gorgeous and I like how you have paired it with the polka dot trousers and the yellow slingbacks!
