I don`t encourage people to spend their fortune on clothes/ accessories. The reality is that we need them, otherwise we would be living in Cap d`Agde. Life is not about material things, as cheesy as it sounds, creating memories is all that matters. A famous quote says you should find three hobbies you love: one to make money, one to keep you in shape and one to be creative.Maybe it`s just about the time, proximity or just the age, habits or different lifestyle, but people will easily choose to spend their money and time in a mall rather than being in the middle of nature.
As you probably noticed (or not) today`s post is under “follow me to” category. So here we are, in the Lake District, Cumbria, UK. Rather than describing my “go to hiking” outfit, I`d thought I will do a list explaining why I like walking/hiking.
1.You don`t have to fight for your size. The struggle is real. The only force you have to defeat is mother nature. Do you fancy Louis Vuitton shoes but not muddy boots? Girl, you need to grow up and explore.
2. Stimulates you to be healthy. Shopping therapy works for me (especially online shopping) but nothing compares with walking or hiking. 3 floors, 20 shops and one bag – wrong; go climbing a mountain or a fell and you`ll be blessed: cardio-respiratory benefits, weight control, it reduces depression and stimulates creativity.
3.Achievement. Oh yeah, maybe you scored a bargain dress you`ll wear it, be happy for a while and that`s it. With an open minded and armed with adventure, you can conquer every peak. Hiking creates dependency, it will push you to try your limits, set up new goals and be unstoppable.
4.You don`t need to worry about your funds. You`d be surprised to find out women will save thousand of pounds for a brand new Chanel bag – which I think it is insane but everyone is free to spend their money how they want. Being in nature is safe; one thing is for sure, here you won`t break the bank. Nature will help you to stop that sales hunter / shopping instinct (except hiking boots and all outdoor equipment -you need them) and I can assure that you`ll be happier than you`ve ever been.
